This course will enable you to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required in the assembly of homebuilt aircraft. The duration of the entire training is approximately four (4) months. It is a combination of theoretical and hands-on knowledge in reference to the following topics:
This module covers the process of joining individual components to create the complete airframe of an aircraft.
Emphasizing safety, efficiency, and reliability, this module explores the complex interplay of engineering and manufacturing in aircraft design.
Learn about the specialized tools and the importance of a meticulously organized workplace to ensure precision, safety, and efficiency in aircraft assembly.
Understand how the assembly process varies significantly depending on the aircraft’s size and complexity, ranging from small, home-built models to advanced designs.
A crucial component of becoming an aircraft builder or Aircraft Structure Technician, this training focuses on the practical skills needed to build and assemble aircraft components.
For theoretical topics, trainings will be held in the classroom for the entire session.
As for hands-on training sessions, trainees will be introduced to the line and will be partnered with an experienced trainer/builder who will teach him the actual assembly process..
Around 10 working days (80 hours) of classroom instruction will cover all key theoretical concepts.
After the classroom instruction, trainees will spend approximately 20 working days (160 hours) in hands-on practice, applying their knowledge in a practical setting.
To complete the program, trainees must undergo 60 working days (480 hours) of On-the-Job Training (OJT), focused on practical aircraft assembly processes and techniques.
